Looking for free data to train …. Well, basically anything?

Let me introduce you to AWS OpenData.

AWS generously hosts hundreds of free / open source data sets for you to train your models with .

Data sets ranging from Genes to Satellite Data for farmers.

Even data as obscure as mapping the brains of fruit flies can be found in Open Data.

Seems rather philosophical, right? Absolutely, but I am sure that it occurred to them that people would have to train models with this data and run inferences, and what better place to do that than on hardware rented from AWS.
