Amazon Quick Automate

AWS is going head-to-head with N8N, IFTTT, and Make.
Amazon Quick Automate looks like it's trying to be an Agentic first process automation tool.
For years, I used tools like Make to automate basic business processes, then I discovered N8N and started running a self-hosted N8N instance.
That doesn't much differentiate from its competitors since everyone is slapping LLMs in everything.
The fact that it wires in with all your other AWS infrastructure natively might give it a competitive advantage, but then again, AWS has so many existing connectors, maybe it won’t.
My guess is that AWS being the behemoth it is, won’t steal all the market share from the other providers.
Small businesses hosted on Wix and Shopify that don’t need or want the additional complexity that comes with AWS will likely still use them.
But depending on the out-of-the-box integrations that ship with Quick Automate, I may get started migrating.
I will say for those of you who are not coders, this could be a fun way to automate some of your processes just by chatting with a bot.
My main concerns are the 3 things I am always obsessed with:
- Will it scale?
- Will it be cost-efficient?
- Will it be secure, or are you just expanding the vector of attack for malicious parties?
With that said, I am eager to see how people use it.
What tools are you using to automate your business processes?
